Engraving Submission Guidelines
For the best engraving result, please follow the guidelines for your submission type below. If we are unable to work with your image, we will contact you by email and ask you to submit a new one.
Paw/Nose & Hand/Footprint Impressions
- Use an ink impression on plain white paper.
- Clay impressions and paint prints are not recommended.
- Create multiple impressions and choose the clearest one.
- The print should be clear and detailed, without large areas of solid ink.
- Take a clear, well-lit photo or scan and crop closely around the print.

Handwritten & Hand-Drawn Submissions
- Use a fine pen on plain, unlined paper.
- Lines should be clear, solid, and easy to see.
- Avoid faint or broken lines and large areas of solid black.
- Take a clear, well-lit photo or scan with minimal shadows.
- Crop closely around the handwriting or drawing.

Fingerprint Impressions
- Use an ink fingerprint on plain white paper.
- Create multiple prints and choose the clearest one.
- Individual fingerprint ridges must be clearly visible.
- Avoid prints that are too dark, light, or smudged.
- Take a clear, well-lit photo or scan and crop closely around the print.

Pet Portrait Submissions
- Submit a clear, high-quality photo of your pet.
- Your pet should be well-lit and in focus.
- Make sure the features you want included are clearly visible.
- Avoid blurry, dark, distant, or obstructed photos.
- Choose your photo carefully, as we will only draw your pet from one photo provided.
